    Characters, Symbols, Icons and Meanings

For personalization and visual aesthetics, many of the personal magic sigils use a series of characters and symbols that are both intuitive in nature but also purely creative in concept.
But please keep in mind that most of the times hidden clues have hidden clues, think as twice hidden. That’s one aspect of the occult, ezoterism and such.

    1. Asemic Writing

This form of artistic writing is intuitive.

    What is Asemic script?

Asemic writing is an open semantic (wordless) form of writing combined with symbols.
Asemic works leave it up to the reader to decide how to translate, interpret
and explore an asemic text; In this sense, the reader becomes a co-creator of the same work.
Asemic writing can become decorative art and/or used as a relaxation activity.

    Example of asemic writing:

    ZA Characters and Symbols

These characters were first developed in 1993. They combine hand-sign language with characters from the classical alphabet.

    3. Angelic Symbols – Zibu

    Abu Sigil
See more details about these symbols which are also used by the Magic Carta WebApp. See Glossary Zibu Symbols

Other characters from different (dead, ancient, old, invented, new) languages like Theban alphabet, sanskrit, arabic, latin, hebrew, atlantean, celestial or the Angelic Script so on…

Do understand that each culture and era comes with its own set of construction aspects so it was not unheard of that an eclectic sigil or a written ritual to be written in more than a single language. Most common languages used in a single document: italian, french, latin, germanic languages.

    About symbols

We’ve started in caves and we haven’t stopped since so the variety, flexibility and the message of symbols have adapted over the time to reflect efficiency, simplicity and of course, meaning.

In sigil construction symbols are often used because of their ancient roots, the older and known, the better.
There are lost symbols of course yet we too have the birthwrite, opportunity and (hopefully) the will to contribute to the humanity’s library of symbols.

Well, I’m not wikipedia tho I do have a few experiences which wiki has not, but let’s take it step by step.

    Books & Resources?

Want to know more about symbols and other related materials which may help one develop their sigil construction…

Feel free to add to the list because we humans, inherit a vast library full of magic, full of mystery, full of knowledge
